Originally it was thought this was just about the Droid, it seems that most of Verizion’s smart phones, as well as some surprises like the Versa and Glyde are on their list.

I’m curious if other carriers will use this type of tactic to try to drive loyalty. This form of vendor lock in could be coming from AT&T and T-Mobile but no word yet.
